That Amazing Place

Originally built in the 15th century as a monastery, That Amazing Place is a boutique bed and breakfast, offering luxurious rooms, excellent facilities, a hearty breakfast and outstanding personal customer service.

The venue is an exclusive use wedding venue, meaning that we offer clients the full use of our manor house, all its facilities and 12 deluxe bedrooms, which sleep up to 25 guests. We also offer an outdoor Jacuzzi and a beauty salon, allowing guests to indulge in treatments of their choice in the comfort of our stunning surroundings.

Licensed for civil ceremonies, the venue can seat up to 100 people for a ceremony. During the summer months you can also choose to say your vows alfresco under our outdoor wedding gazebo situated next to the breathtaking backdrop of the lake.

We have no minimum guest numbers with makes us the perfect venue for an intimate wedding. We can cater for up to 80 seated guests for a wedding breakfast inside the house or 150 guests in our dining marquee (available from 2018) . Alternatively, if you would prefer something more relaxed without the formality of a traditional sit down meal, we would be very happy to accommodate this.
